There Will Be Another Lockdown – Gloria Sarfo –Gloria Sarfo has predicted another lockdown which according to her will soon occur.
The president, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo on Sunday lifted the 3 weeks partial lockdown in Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi amidst the corona virus pandemic.
A section of the public were not overly excited about the issue, calling for the head of the president and also suggesting that it was bad and dangerous for the country whereas another section jubilated saying it would allow Ghanaians go back to their works and help the already ailing economy.
In an interview with Happy Fm, the actress said she can tell there’s going to be another lockdown, considering actions of Ghanaians after the lockdown was lifted.
She indicated that Ghanaians are not adhering to safety protocols as directed by authorities and the cases could sky-rocket should their acts continue.
“Honestly, I foresee another lockdown in the works. This is from me observing keenly what is happening after the lockdown was lifted and happenings in other countries”, she said.
She however indicated that she believes the decision of lifting the lockdown by the president was reached after consultations from experts and advised Ghanaians to respect directives from authorities in charge.
