Ghanaian hiplife musician, Eugene Ashie also known as Wisa Greid has opened up on issues that came up after he showed his d*ck live on stage and has alleged that the Ghanaian police tricked him and extorted money from him during that period.
Wisa Greid disclosed this information to Okay Fm’s Abeiku Santana on Monday.
Wisa Greid received backlashes from a huge section of Ghanaians after he showed what looked like his manhood whiles performing on stage at the December to Remember concert in 2015. After his action, he was sent off stage and invited to the police station for questioning and was processed before court after.
Narrating what truly happened, the singer said he didn’t show his manhood but rather a libido which was fake.
He told Abeiku Santana that it was all a planned act meant to attract people to pay attention to his performance and also gain attention and that the libido was manufactured for him at the Art Center in Accra.
Diving into issues that transpired after the unfortunate incident, Wisa said the police invited him over for questioning afterwards but because he wasn’t abreast with proceedings, they tricked him and extorted a lot of money from him. “My lawyer hadn’t come in at that time so they tricked me. They told me what to say and jeopardized the whole issue. They took all my money”.
He showered praises on his lawyer who defended him and proved his innocence to the world.
