Kumawood actor Benard Aduse Poku best known by his showbiz name Koo Musuo has affirmed that the movie industry will return to its glory days this year through a collective effort from stakeholders in the industry.
The actor stated this in an interview with popular showbiz blogger Zionfelix on his Uncut show.
The movie industry has over the years seen a decline in production due to reasons some producers give such as lack of funds to produce movies, low patronage from end users, etc. A few days ago, veteran actor Kofi Adjololo came out to accuse some producers for not paying him, indicative of problems in the industry.
In finding permanent solutions to these problems and others, the popular kumawood actor said this year will be the year when the stakeholders in the industry will come together to ensure the industry becomes better than it used to be before. He established that every possible thing will be done to see this become a reality. “By hook or cook, we wanna see the movie industry revived”, he said.
Koo Musuo added that the stakeholders have had a wakeup call and even though it isn’t official, they are all planning on how to put measures in place to make the industry bigger and better. “All the movie industry stakeholders have realized that this is the time so we all want to do something to make sure the issues are resolved,” he said.
