Teacher Kwadwo, whose real name is Michael Owusu Afriyie, is a Ghanaian teacher, comedian, and content creator who grew up on the streets of Kumasi.
When Teacher Kwadwo started attracting attention for his funny videos and posts on Facebook and Youtube, he wasn’t financially motivated.
At that moment, he had no idea that his humorous posts would not only put him in the spotlight but also bring him financial rewards.
With more followers joining each day on social media and tens of thousands of views on YouTube, he has amassed over 600,000 followers.

Education
Kwadwo began his education at Jubilee Preparatory School in Oforikrom.
Later, he attended Asem Mixed and Adventist Preparatory School in Amakom.
He then attended Ashanti’s Tweneboah Koduah Senior High School for his high school education.
Having completed his high school education, he stayed at home for seven years before going to the Akrokeri College of Education.

This happened because of his desire to get into Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, but he did not meet the academic requirements.
Career
His career as a teacher began in 2017, after completing his studies at Akrokeri College of Education.
Although he makes funny videos, he has no plans to leave the classroom because it is part of who he is.
In spite of making some good money from comedy, he considers teaching a calling, and especially so because of the love of children.
During a recent interview with Colleges of Education Weekly Journal, he revealed that he began creating comics during college.
This was after frequently watching a comedian from Germany called the Mad King who made short comedy videos.
Having found them so entertaining and humorous, he decided to try them out as well.
As soon as he started creating the videos, he began to attract a following, which was encouraging for him.
