Taniya Gray, a 23-year-old mother, died after she was found shot inside a vehicle on Sunday, her birthday, in Southwest Baltimore, according to police.
According to neighbors, Gray, who was murdered on the morning of Mother’s Day, had a young daughter.
Police said Gray was located in a vehicle around 10:40 a.m. in the 4100 block of Mountwood Road with multiple gunshot wounds, according to police.
She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
A woman who lives nearby told WJZ she heard gunshots, and when she looked out of her window, she saw that a car had crashed into the bumper of her parked car with the victim still inside.
