Supreme Court Petition Not End To Protests – Mahama

The NDC Presidential Candidate for the 2020 elections, John Dramani Mahama has urged the party’s supporters to continue their streets protests against the results of the 2020 presidential and some parliamentary elections despite the mooted supreme court petition.

The former President made these comments via his social media handles on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

According to Mr. Mahama, the supreme court showdown will not stop the party from holding demonstrations against what it has described as a flawed and fictionalized election.

“The National Democratic Congress has decided to proceed to the Supreme Court to contest the results of the rigged elections of December 7. The decision follows a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of our party on Tuesday in Accra.”

“While in court, the NDC will continue all legitimate actions, including protests, to demand the enforcement of the rule of law and protection of life and property of the good people of Ghana.”
