Barbara Mahama, wife of the soldier who was murdered by a mob who decided to melt out instant justice on him, because they thought he was a thief in Denkyire Obuasi is pleading with the general public not to chose mob justice as the answer when they think someone is guilty of a crime.
The late Major Mahama would have celebrated his birthday yesterday, November 1, 2017 if he had been alive but unfortunately, he was murdered by some residents in Denkyira Obuasi now known as New Obuasi.
The late soldier’s wife, Barbara was in the studios of Ghone TV on their News Night and she spoke to Nana Aba Anamoah on the challenges she’s gone through since the death of her husband.
She also used the opportunity to read a speech and pleaded with Ghanaians not to chose mob justice as the answer as it breaks homes.
Barbara who has two sons with her late husband told the host how they celebrated his birthday earlier in the day.
She also mentioned that she hears her husband’s voice directing her.
