Disturbing new video depicts conservative commentator Steven Crowder in a heated argument with his heavily pregnant wife, Hilary Crowder.
In the footage obtained by journalist Yashar Ali and posted to his Substack, Crowder can be seen berating his wife for not following orders to do “wifely” duties and warns her to “f-king watch it.”
The footage was captured on a Ring camera and shows Hilary struggling to stand while nearly eight months pregnant with twins.
In the video, Crowder bans Hilary from using their only car to go grocery shopping, as it would mean he could not go to the gym.
He also instructs her to feed their dogs medicine that she feared would be toxic for their unborn children.
Despite Hilary’s objections, Crowder continues to argue with her and belittles her for not being obedient.
Towards the end of the video, Hilary snaps and tells Crowder that his abuse is sick.
However, she later backs down and repeatedly tells him she loves him while he continues to berate her while smoking a cigarette.
The release of the video comes after Crowder revealed on Tuesday that his wife had filed for divorce in 2021 and claimed he had been “living with a proverbial boot on my neck for years.”
The footage has sparked outrage and condemnation from many, who have called for Crowder to be held accountable for his behavior.
