Steve Ezeonu is a half Nigerian-half American assistant Manager at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
He was recently elected into a political office in the United States after he won the Grand Prairie City Council run-off election in Texas, United States.
Ezeonu, a Democrat clinched 3,903 votes to beat his closest rival Greg Giessner who garnered 3,720 votes in the June 5 run-off election.

Steve Ezeonu recently graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington Summa Cum Laude with a 3.91 GPA in BA Political Science.

Career
He has served as a retail store clerk, youth basketball trainer, and currently a substitute teacher and tutor for low-income students throughout the DFW metroplex.
According to him, these jobs may not have been generous in pay but they gave him the opportunity to learn and experience the day-to-day trials that many folks face here in Grand Prairie.
And from those experiences, a passion for public service developed and motivated him to serve his community.
