Award-winning singer, Kofi Kinaata has insisted that sports betting has benefited some people in the world by lifting them from zero to billionaire status in no time.

His statement follows an ord of caution from Bishop Dag Heward Mills to the youth to stop engaging in sports betting if they want a good future for themselves.

In an interview with Amansan Krakye of Kastle Fm, Kofi Kinaata who doubles as the ambassador for sports betting company noted that the Bishop has his own reasons for advising against it but he sees no problem with the act since it has been a way for some other people to escape a life of poverty.

He said; “So probably it depends on what he has seen that’s why he’s advising the youth to stay away from sports betting because he’s been in this world for a long time. However, it is two-sided when it comes to sports betting.

“There are some people who were also wallowing in abject poverty but through staking a sports bet they won and have suddenly became billionaires. So does it mean their riches from sports betting is a misfortune.”
