Mr. Patrick Mensah, a fan of award-winning Reggae and Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has been adjudged the winner of the Asaase Sound Clash Competition.

Mr. Patrick Mensah drove home a brand new Mahindra KUV 100 courtesy Svani Group Limited after emerging as the highest texter in the competition.

The epic Asaase Sound Clash took place last Saturday with two of Ghana’s biggest artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were engaged in lyrical battle with the aim of helping raise awareness about the deadly Coronavirus.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony Mr. Mensah expressed gratitude to the organizers for such a concept and was elated about winning the ultimate prize.

“I decided to engage in the competition because of the credibility of the organizers. I am happy about winning the prize and emerging as the highest texter and am proud to be a Shatta Movement (SM) fan,” he said.

Mr. Nana Poku, the Chief Executive Officer of Asaase Radio in his brief remarks at the ceremony congratulated the winner of the competition and was grateful to sponsors and partners who supported the programme.

Mr. Razak Opoku, a representative of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), was satisfied with the processes involved in announcing the winner and reassured the general public that the raffle was carefully scrutinized and clean.

The maiden Asaase Sound Clash was partnered by the Ministry of Health, Ghana Tourism Authority, Visit Ghana, NLA, and was sponsored by Betway Limited Svani Group, National Petroleum Authority, Serene Insurance, McDan Shipping, and First Sky Ltd.
