Elon Musk has reportedly welcomed twins with Shivon Zilis, a top executive at Neuralink, one of his many companies, bringing his grand total to nine known children.
The richest man in the world, 51, met tech guru Shivon Zilis, 36, through her work with OpenAI, the nonprofit Musk cofounded in 2015.
Court documents obtained by Insider reveal that Musk and Zilis welcomed the twins last November.
The two filed a petition to have the twins’ names changed on April 25.
Musk and Zilis are looking to “have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as part of their middle name,” court documents state.

Zilis, who was born in Ontario, Canada, met Musk through OpenAI, the artificial-intelligence research-and-deployment nonprofit Musk cofounded in 2015, Insider reported.
In 2020, Zilis posted a tweet defending Musk on his decision to move Tesla out of California over COVID-19 restrictions.
California State Assembly member, Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher, had tweeted ‘F**k Elon Musk.’
Zilis responded: ‘This makes me sad. No one’s perfect but I’ve never met anyone who goes through more personal pain to fight for an inspiring future for humanity – and has done so tirelessly for decades. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion but mine is that there’s no one I respect and admire more.’
Besides her professional life, the 36 years old hasn’t revealed much about her love affairs.
She was well known in Silicon Valley as a nerd-athlete investor.
