Shatta Wale has warned political parties against using his image.
The artist has sent a caution to all politicians and their supporters to desist from using his name or brand during their campaigns.
This comes weeks after the singer promised to keep Akufo-Addo’s tweet for four more years after the president congratulated him for his feature on Beyoncé’s album.
His earlier tweet had been interpreted to also mean that he supports Akufo-Addo’s bid for a second term in office.
On the other hand, Shatta Wale’s father is said to an National Democratic Congress sympathiser.
In spite of all these rumoured affiliations, Shatta Wale doesn’t want any of the political parties to take advantage of his brand for campaign.
“Moving forward…no one should use my picture or my brand on any political campaign or platforms”
“Myself and my loyal fans will support corporate with any person Ghanaians elect as their president”, he tweeted.
