  • Shatta Wale stated that the Shatta Movement brand stands for peace.
  • He stated that there are decent and responsible Shatta Movement fans who understand the business side of his musical career.

The boss of the Shatta Movement Empire and quite recently ‘Danchall Naa’, Charles Nii Armah Mensah known by his showbiz name as Shatta Wale has sent a note of caution to his fans who constantly attack other artistes on openly to desist from it.

He made this known in a phone interview with Sammy Flex of Zylofon Fm on Monday after he posted something similar on his social media pages on Monday.

As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the Dancehall Naa stated that the Shatta Movement brand has always stood for peace and attacks only when it has been stepped upon. He added that some of the fans have misunderstood the reasons for these steps he takes and capitalize on that to attack other artistes irrespective of what they say and post on their social media pages, something he as a leader hates to see. “When I wake up and I see some of my fans attacking other artistes for no reason it hurts me”.

The highlife song the year winner at the recently held VGMAs noted that there some members of his fan base who are responsible and so dedicated to the course and as such, see the business aspect of the things he does.  He added that the fan base he has can be converted to a political following one day because he doesn’t intend to do music forever and might one day want to enter parliament, but these actions from some of his irresponsible fans won’t help that course.

He advised his fans to attack people only when the need arises and not continuously drag the good brand name in the mud.
