Ghanaian dancehall music sensation, Charles Nii Armah Mensah known in showbiz circles as Shatta Wale has made it to the worldwide trends after news broke out that he is featuring on Beyonce’s upcoming album, “The lion king: The Gift” album.
Earlier on Tuesday, multiple award winning American singer, Beyonce released a track list of her upcoming album and the artists she has featured on her Official website, beyonce.com.
Big names from Nigerian music like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage and a host of many others are featuring on the album.
Shatta Wale made it to the list of featured artists as the only Ghanaian and this has gotten many people talking not only in Ghana, but worldwide.
Many Ghanaian stars have also taken to their social media handles to congratulate the Dancehall star for putting Ghana on the map.
Being the first time he is trending worldwide, the Dancehall Naa posted “the first time in my life to trend worldwide… Wow. SM empire say paa paa paa paa paaa paa. God is alive my guy…”
‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album is set to be released on the 19th of July, 2019.
