Self-acclaimed African dancehall king, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, best known as Shatta Wale has finally smoked the peace pipe with Charter House, organisers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. (VGMA).
In an instagram post sighted by ghlinks.com.gh, the award winning dancehall artiste posed for a picture with Theresa Ayoade, CEO of Charter House to announce his re-union with the organizers of the awards.
After he was voted as the artiste of the year in 2013, Shatta Wale has gone back and forth with the organizers due to misunderstandings for many reasons. He was however nominated last year but failed to make an appearance at the awards show.
In his post which comes hours to the nominnes announcement for 20th edition of the VGMA’S, the GRINGO hit maker thanked the CEO for the opportunity given to him to be part of the awards scheme and showed his excitement of being a part of this year’s edition.
