Shatta Wale Explains Why He Mounted The Stage When Stonebwoy Was Picking Up An Award

My Actions Were Misunderstood - Shatta Wale VGMA 2019

The feud between the camps of the dancehall gods in Ghana, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale is always taking different twists by the day.

At the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards organized by Chatter House, the two camps took their feud to a whole different level after they clashed on stage.

Stonebwoy was picking up his award for the Reggae/danchall act of the year when Shatta Wale and his SM Empire tried to mount the stage as well for reasons best known to him.

The act however wasn’t welcomed by the Bhim Nation president and his entire crew and sparked exchange of blows among the two camps, bringing the entire show to a halt.

Shatta Wale after the nasty incident has explained the reason behind he his actions. In a facebook post by the self-acclaimed dancehall king, he said he was moving on stage to make peace with Stonebwoy after he was announced the winner of the dancehall category but his actions were misunderstood.

Evidently angered by Stonebwoy pulling a gun, Shatta Wale showed his displeasure in Stonebwoy’s act and also threatened to pull a gun when he meets with him, saying Chatter House gave Stonebwoy  the stage to make open threats to him.
