Early Life
Sharon Ooja was Born in the ’90s in Kaduna State, North-Central Nigeria.
The 31 year old actress was born in Kaduna State into a family of six, is originally from Benue State.
Plateau State is where she and her siblings grew up.
Education
Sharon Ooja attended Kings and Queens School in Jos for her primary education.
She attended two all-girls boarding schools for her secondary education – Regina Pacis Secondary School in Garki II, Abuja, and St. Louis Girls’ College in Jos.
Upon completing her secondary education, Sharon Ooja enrolled at Houdegbe North American University in Cotonou, Benin Republic, where she earned a degree in Mass Communication.
Career
Sharon Ooja worked for a real estate company for a while before making her acting debut in Gidi Up.
Sharon began her acting career after relocating to Lagos in 2013.
According to her once, she found acting by accident. She had a photoshoot for a store, and NdaniTV was handling the behind-the-scenes session.
Her performance got her an interview the following week for a television show that never aired.
Eventually, she appeared in a television series called Gidi Up, for which she did well.
Her debut in the comedy series Skinny Girl in Transit led to her stardom as the character Shalewa.
In spite of her fame as a result of the Skinny Girl in Transit series, she considers her role in Oloture as her breakthrough character, because her character wasn’t stereotyped.
