Serwaa Broni, a Ghanaian living in Canada, has dropped many allegations, causing people to react on social media.
Evelyn Serwaa Broni, a key player in the current saga involving President Akufo-Addo, explained the details of her relationship with him for the first time on Facebook Live.
She stated that, after posting some pictures from a private jet to social media showing a reflection of the President after a Kumasi funeral trip, she was told to take them down, and the relationship broke down, but the two remained friends.
She disclosed that at one point President Akufo Addo informed her that his National Security had warned him to stay away from her because she could cause trouble.
Regarding the private [jet] pictures, she said the President expressed doubt that she might have kept some pictures to herself.
Upon returning to Canada, President AkufoAddo called and allegedly threatened her.
During her return visit to Ghana, where she was in frequent contact with President Akufo-Addo, she was told to meet Hopeson Adorye, who is alleged to have given her Ghc20,000 from the President to pay her fees.
She later claims that Hopeson stormed her hotel room (which was booked in his name) to allegedly tamper with her laptop while she and her “partner” were being robbed on Accra-Dawhenya Road en route to Togo.
A group of plain clothes alleged National Security officials accosted her entourage amidst gunshots.
Cash, wallets, passports, and gadgets belonging to the entourage were seized.
