Many celebrities took their turn to congratulate Shatta Wale yesterday after news broke out that he has featured on multiple award-winning American musician, Beyonce’s yet to be released album.
Key among them is the most awarded Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie who tweeted “welcome home queen @Beyonce… officially big shouts to @shattawalegh!! And all our brothers and sisters out there… Big one for the culture”.

Shatta Wale took time to retweet all the goodwill messages from his colleagues in the industry, except that of his former best friend, Sarkodie. Evidently, the Dancehall Naa hasn’t gotten over the ‘Advice’ song directed to him from Sarkodie.
In an interview with Zylofon Fm on Wednesday which was monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the evidently furious Dancehall star called Sarkodie a hypocrite who didn’t deserve to be retweeted. Defending his point, he said Sarkodie is “too known” and should stay in his lane because he Shatta Wale doesn’t like hypocrites around him. “I don’t like hypocrites around me. Sarkodie has always been a hypocrite”, he said.
He further explained that he doesn’t need his goodwill messages because he believes it was fake. He added that when his unfortunate VGMA brawl with Stonebwoy occurred, Sarkodie didn’t show him support but came when he had good news coming his way and even gave Beyonce shout outs, calling her his queen when he doesn’t even know her.
