Professor Samuel Kobina Annim of the Ghana Statistical Service, who was on stage informing the public about the progress of the Population and Housing Census, was rendered speechless.
In a video sighted by ghlinks.com.gh, Professor Samuel Kobina Annim who appeared perfectly fine began to stammer and stagger momentarily.
This happened during a press conference at the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) headquarters on Sunday, July 11, the year of the 2021 Population and Housing Census.
“We also have some…,” these were the words he said before going mute while struggling to complete the sentence.
Some young men at the event rushed to the man’s aid, trying to determine what the problem was as they tried to get the streaming live event off-air.
Professor Samuel Kobina Annim has since been reported to be receiving treatment at a health facility.
The cause of the unfortunate incident is still unknown.
