Samuel Abu Jinapor
Samuel Abu Jinapor is a Ghanaian lawyer and politician.
He is currently the Deputy Chief of Staff to the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
He became a Campaign Aide to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the famous 2007 NPP Presidential Primaries.
The politician unseated the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Adam Mutawakilu in the Damongo Constituency of the Savannah Region at the just ended 2020 General elections.
He polled 15,671 votes to defeat the NDC MP, Mutawakilu who polled 13,330 votes while an independent candidate David Tiki Dange polled 296 votes with 499 rejected ballots.
Samuel Abu Jinapor is 33 years old
He first graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
His intellectual thirst and political aspirations led him to enroll to be trained as a lawyer, which aspiration he successfully accomplished.
He earned a Bachelor’s of Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Ghana, in 2010, and was subsequently called to the Ghanaian Bar as a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Ghana in 2012.
In addition, Mr. Jinapor is expected to earn a Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from the Faculty of Law, University Of Ghana, in May 2017.
He is a member of the reputable commercial and corporate law firm, Messrs. Kulendi @ Law. He has been, since, his undergraduate days, a close aide of the President-Elect.
He is happily married to Mrs. Naada Jinapor, a Lawyer with the Corporate Law Department of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT). Their marriage is blessed with a daugther.
