Rowby Severe, Magael Brown Photo: How a sibling dispute left 1 sister dead, 1 injured

A 37-year-old Orlando man identified as Rowby Severe has been accused in the murder of his sister in Orange County.

Rowby Severe was arrested on charges of first degree murder and aggravated battery for shooting his sister, 41-year-old Magael Brown, and injuring his younger sister whose name was not released.

Deputies responded to the 1200 block of Charles Street shortly after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in reference to a shooting.

When officials arrived, they found a woman who had been shot.

The woman, who was identified as Magael Brown, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His younger sister, who is believed to be in her 30s, was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Severe is the brother of both women, deputies said.

Deputies said the incident is “domestic in nature” and that Severe faces charges of first-degree murder and aggravated battery.
