One was killed and two others were injured in a Wednesday afternoon crash in St. Louis.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. at North Broadway and Calvary.
Re’Shaun Berry has been identified as the individual who lost her life.
“Car came into the intersection and collided with a dump truck,” said Lt. Paul Lauer with SLMPD.
Lauer said the sedan was going southbound on North Broadway when the driver decided to swerve around traffic and run the red light and hit a truck that was traveling on Calvary.
“There are speed limits for a reason, there are traffic control signals for a reason. People need to obey those,” said Lauer.
An investigation into the crash has been conducted, according to SLMPD. SLMPD says more information will be posted when it becomes available.
