A 34 year old Chicago woman identified as Rashaundra Rivers has been arrested and charged after she stabbed an elderly man in the South Shore neighborhood in late December.
According to Chicago Police, Rashaundra Rivers, who resides in South Paxton Avenue, was arrested Tuesday after she stabbed and seriously injured a 71-year-old in the 2100 block of East 71st Street.
She was placed into custody and charged with two felony counts including aggravated battery with the use of a deadly weapon and aggravated battery to a victim over 60 years of age.
She was scheduled to appear in bond court on Wednesday.
