Rapper Nipsey Hussle has been shot and killed outside his clothing store, Marathon Clothing in Los Angeles.

Nipsey Hussle, who was recently nominated for the ‘Best Rap Album’ at the 2019 GRAMMYs has died after being shot outside his clothing store in Los Angeles.

According to reports, the 33-year-old rapper was shot multiple times before being pronounced dead at the scene and police have confirmed they have no suspect.

In a statement Los Angeles Police confirmed, “We have no suspect info at this time and will provide more details as they become available.”

Mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti confirmed the news by tweeting, ‘Our hearts are with the loved ones of Nipsey Hussle and everyone touched by this awful tragedy. L.A. is hurt deeply each time a young life is lost to senseless gun violence. My Crisis Response Team is assisting the families coping with shock and grief.’

Rihanna also reacted to the tragic news with a tweet, writing ‘This doesn’t make any sense! My spirit is shaken by this! Dear God may His spirit Rest In Peace and May You grant divine comfort to all his loved ones! I’m so sorry this happened to you @nipseyhussle’
