Cardi B finally revealed her pregnancy, and now her sister Hennessy Carolina has confirmed that the rapper is expecting a baby daughter.
In case you missed it, the Bodak Yellow rapper announced on Saturday Night Live that she really is pregnant, as fans have been suspecting. She appeared on stage in a custom Christian Siriano that highlighted her baby bump,and after her performance, she announced, “I’m finally free!”
Recall that for months she’s been denying rumors that she’s expecting a child with her fiancé, rapper Offset, for months. However, after her SNL performance, she continued in a now-deleted Instagram Stories post, telling why she waited so long to make her big announcement.
“This is why i did not wanted to say nothing,” Cardi wrote in the post. “People be so thirsty to scrutinize and try to destroy something that it suppose to be a blessing.”
Meanwhile, TMZ adds that Cardi is due in early July, which would make her approximately six to seven months pregnant.
