Quille Topp, a Flint woman, aged 36, was shot and killed yesterday. The incident took place in the 300 block of E. Foss Street around 6:30 p.m., where she was found in her vehicle.
Authorities acted quickly and arrested a 37-year-old man from Flint in connection with the fatal shooting.
He now resides at the Genesee County Jail, pending charges. The connection between the suspect and the victim was left unspecified by the Michigan State Police.
Nonetheless, a prompt provision of domestic violence resources was included in their communications.
The investigation into the homicide is being led by the Flint Major Case Unit.
Their preliminary findings were shared in a post by MSP Third District on social media, confirming the arrest made and asserting that the victim was shot while she sat in her driveway.
