One person killed, two injured in overnight Danville restaurant shooting

The Danville Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a suspect in a shooting that killed one person and injured two others early Saturday.

Khaleel Latwain Rodgers, Jr., 28, is wanted on charges of second-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and reckless handling of a firearm.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

The incident happened at Ten 10 Restaurant and Lounge in the 1000 block of Piney Forest Road around 2:30 a.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found 33-year-old Damion Quayshaud Reed suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body. Police said he was pronounced dead after being transported from the scene.

A 50-year-old security guard at the location sustained a gunshot wound to his leg, and police said a third man arrived at a hospital by private vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm.
