Portia Gabor (born 27th April) is a Ghanaian media personality, well known for stressing issues on social concern in the media.
She has over a decade of experience as a broadcast journalist and news anchor at Media General ( TV 3).
In 2018, she was selected to represent Ghana at International Visitor Leadership Program for her road safety documentary “Dangerous Highways”.
Portia has traveled extensively to communities across the country to highlight issues affecting Ghanaians and has interviewed many personalities from the ordinary Ghanaian to the Queen of Denmark.

Education
Portia Gabor has a background in Psychology from the University of Ghana.
She has a diploma in communication from AUCC and recently earned a Master’s in Development Communication, Communication and Media Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
Awards
She has won so many accolades, they include Best News reporter at the Ghana Journalist awards, Komla Dumor’s most promising young journalist.
In 2011 she was nominated for CNN Multichoice Africa Journalist awards. Her work, Drug peddling in rural Africa was Highly Commended at the awards.
Portia Gabor of TV3 was adjudged the P.AV. Ansah Journalist of the year 2021.
She was the best health reporter for the TV category for a story titled ‘Wealth for Health’ and also picked up the best news reporter (TV) for her story on ‘A beggar’s Paradise’.
