The Year of Return 2019 will forever go down in history as a memorable one. It saw a handful of African-Americans troop into the country to trace their roots as black people with black heritage and also to tour the country Ghana.

Aside the boost it has given to tourism, many African-Americans have had the chance to learn more about their history, being that they were shipped to the Americas some 400 years ago.

It has also seen many celebrities troop into Ghana (both Hollywood actors and musicians alike) and the recent of them has been Jamaican artiste Popcaan.

In a recent picture shared on his social media handles, the dance hall act was captured while on a trip to the Cape Coast Caste in the Central Region. In a very emotional post, he said;

“I went and lay wreath in memory of my ancestors that was put in these dungeons and ship to Jamaica and other parts of the world.

Stronger now and also free. #capecoastcastle#”.

the Jamaican singer and songwriter landed in Ghana some days ago, and has already expressed mad love for Ghana.
