Police cautions Akuapem Poloo over nude photo
The Ghana Police has cautioned Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo for sharing a nude photo of herself kneeling in front of her seven-year-old son, on social media.
Akuapem Poloo was cautioned on the publication of obscene material, the behaviour of conduct that undermines somebody’s privacy and also distracts of somebody’s dignity.
Chief Superintendent of Police, Owusuwaa Kyeremeh, who is Director of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service, disclosed this to the Ghanaian Times.
She said the Ghanaian actress and internet sensation has been cautioned on both the criminal and domestic acts.
The Director revealed that Akuapem Poloo honoured an invitation by the police and a statement was taken from her.
Chief Superintendent of Police, Owusuwaa Kyeremeh, said investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
Earlier, record label boss and artist manager Kwasi Ernest asked authorities to punish Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo.
His call comes after she posed naked with her seven-year-old son on his birthday.
The CEO and Managing Director of Media Excel told the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection to make the actress and internet sensation face the law.
