The Police have apprehended five persons who are suspected to be connected to the murder of late Mfantseman MP, Ekow Quansah Hayford.
The Police noted that the five “are being taken through lawful police procedures.”
Ekow Quansah Hayford was shot and killed on the Abeadze-Mankessim while returning from a campaign trail in his constituency.
President Akufo-Addo has charged the Police to do everything in their power to bring the killers to book.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police has placed a bounty of GHC20,000 on the suspected killers.
