Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has taken to her twitter handle to plead with Ghanaians to show their humanity towards each other in the wake of this outbreak.
According to Lydia, the people most disadvantaged at this time are the poor and vulnerable, especially since they cannot afford many of the household items needed to sustain them.
She advised that people should not be greedy by buying more than what they really need, or hoard products just to increase the prices later.
She tweeted, “The people who will be hit the hardest should things get out of hand will be the less privileged. So please don’t be greedy and buy more than you need, don’t hoard food, sanitizers and the basics. This period is a test of your humanity, be kind.”
