New Media Journey Ghana (NMJ GHANA), organizers of the annual Golden Movie Awards Africa have introduced the Golden Movie Awards Walk Of Fame as part of its honorary activities for the 5th edition of the prestigious awards scheme.
The announcement of the Walk of Fame was done during the nominees announcement party of the 2019 edition at the plush Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra on Friday 19th July, 2019.
Being its fifth year since its inception, the awards scheme has awarded movie actors and the industry’s most hardworking and prominent persons on the African continent. This year’s edition promises nothing less as movie stars and industry players from across Africa will converge in Accra, Ghana on August 24th, 2019 to witness another memorable night of glitz and glamour.
This year, the event will be preceded by a corporate screening which will see the corporate world of Ghana converge at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra to have a private movie screening whiles they network and interact about the possible future for the movie industry in Ghana and beyond.
NMJ Ghana announced Van Vicker, Nadia Buari, Jackie Appiah, Roger Quartey and Abdul Salam Mumuni as the 5 legends to be honored for on the night (Golden Movie Awards Walk of Fame) for their immense contribution towards the growth of the movie industry.
The awards ceremony comes off on the 24th of August, 2019.
