Actress turned singer, Emelia Brobbey, seems not to allow negativity stop her from chasing her dreams.
After she was mocked for her tune titled ‘Fa Me Ko’, she went on to release another titled ‘Odo Electric’.
Emelia Brobbey has revealed that though her craft is not the best now, she hopes it becomes better one day.
She also stressed that there is nothing wrong with an actress venturing into music.
”Being an actress and a singer is within the same creative platform. I don’t think venturing into music as an actress is news or there’s something wrong with it. I’ve sang in movies a number of times. If I can’t be a perfect musician now, one day I know I’ll be perfect at it”, she said on 3FM.
Though some praised her for the improvement in her vocal delivery on her second song ‘Odo Electric’. some claimed that she used auto-tune.
Emelia Brobbey’s second song featured RuffTown Records signee, Wendy Shay.
