I received my first pay cheque in 1993. It was 4am at city hotel now Golden Tulip in Kumasi. I remember vividly it was two hundred and fifty cedis which was 2.5 million cedis at the time. I don’t know what the value was at that time but all I know is I had mixed feelings that day. I had given my best performance but the judges said I had come second to Turbo B or Shimolee I don’t remember the exact person. So after the competition the CEO of Glendex forex bureau called me and told me, to him I was first and gave me 2.5million cedis more so that I would get the same amount that the first person got. I post this photo today to thank Him . For his encouragement. He became my friend and started mentoring me to know how life works . That bureau was at Amakom and shared offices with luv fm. So if U know who I am talking about pls show me so I can go and thank him properly. By the way the Mc for the night was the legendary LOVIN CEE
