Embattled former General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has indicated that the party’s flagbearer in the 2020 polls, John Dramani Mahama is done and dusted with his role as leader of the party.
His comments comes after Supreme Court’s verdict on the election petition describing John Mahama’s case as without merit.
Mr Anyidoho after the verdict in a series of tweets mocked Mahama stressing that he was the only one who lost the petition and not the NDC.
He indicated that the party’s National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo is now the leader of the party and called on him to stamp his authority on the party.
“As things stand now, & per the constitution of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, National Chairman, is also the current Leader of the Party till a new Flagbearer emerges. Ofosu-Ampofo has the full backing of the NDC and must stamp his AUTHORITY & clamp down on gross indiscipline.” he wrote.
