Otumfuo Assinhene, Nana Yaw Akuoko has fired hard at former president of MUSIGA, Obour over his intention to contest in the NPP primaries for the position of Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem South and has insisted that Obour won’t be able to manage the affairs of the constituency and should be rejected.
The chief made this assertion in an interview with Kumasi based Ashh Fm.
Obour declared his intentions to contest on the ticket of the ruling NPP for the Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem South some weeks ago. According to the former president of MUSIGA, he sees that as a new challenge in his life and and wants to stand for the primaries in the constituency so as to be elected as the aspirant.
In an interview with host Nana Amoako, Otumfuo’s Assinhene thinks the former president of MUSIGA will be a bad candidate for the people because he failed at MUSIGA and has a bad record with leadership and management. “If Obour says he can make things go well at Asante Akyem, let’s look at his works at MUSIGA. What he did at MUSIGA is to hand over power after years and they can’t even have a simple handing over ceremony”, he said.
He called on the NPP delegates to reject him because he will lead the constituency to doom with bad management.
