The National Service Scheme (NSS) has released over 9,000 Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for eligible Ghanaian nurses who have passed their licensing exams organized by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

The release of the PIN codes is to enable these final year students to enroll and do national service for the 2019/2020 service year.

In a release signed by the Executive Director of the Scheme, Mustapha Ussif, the eligible nurses are advised to visit the Scheme’s website to retrieve the PIN codes with their respective index numbers.

A GH₵40 payment must be made at any Agricultural Development Bank Ltd. or a GH₵ 41 Mobile Money payment must be made by the nurses to activate the enrollment process.

The release also urged prospective Service Personnel to complete their enrolment process before March 29.

“Management urges all prospective National Service Personnel to ensure that they complete their enrolment process on or before Friday the 29th of March, 2019.” the release read

“All newly trained nurses who have written and passed their licencing exams organised by the Nursing and Midwifery Council are therefore, requested to visit the scheme’s website www.nss.gov.gh to access their pin codes with their respective index number,” the statement said.
