Normalisation Committee Special Competition, Matchday 12 preview

The enemy of Ghana football, hooliganism and fan violence reared its ugly heads once again at the Cape Coast Stadium last Sunday in the 11th matchday of the normalisation committee special competition.

Hearts of Oak players, for about 30 minutes had to live in fear after a section of Ebusua Dwarfs fans stormed the pitch and attacked the officials after hearts won the game 2-1.

In the end, Hearts came through unscathed and the stadium has since been banned temporarily.

Hearts however play host on Wednesday to high flying Karela United and their young sensation Diawisie Taylor. The striker leads the scoring chart with 8 goals to his name. Hearts themselves are on some fine form that has led them to the summit of the Zone B table. Karela sit in second place, just a point behind. It’s undoubtedly the top loner of the weekend and one that promises to live up to expectation.

Elsewhere in Zone B,  WAFA welcome Elmina Sharks to Sogakope, Dwarfs play Dreams at their temporal ground in Dansoman while Liberty go to Tema to face rock bottom Inter Allies.

In Zone A, Ashantigold, after beating Kotoko last time out, welcome Aduana Stars to Obuasi, Kotoko face XI wonders and then there is a Bono derby as Berekun Chelsea welcome Bechem United.

Kick off time for all games is 3:00pm on Wednesday,15th May,2019.
