It’s no news that the Ghana Movie Industry isn’t at its peak. In the interim, most actors and actresses are exploring alternate and/or additional careers. Actor Eddie Nartey, like most of his colleague actors and actresses in Ghana, is no exception. He’s currently a director and employee of Zylofon Media (radio).
As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, Eddie, in a conversation with actress turned TV Show Host, Yvonne Okoro, on her show, Cooks and Braggarts, was asked what his personal thoughts about Nana Appiah Mensah as a person is, and whether or not he believes the businessman is a scammer or that the businessman had good intentions for the industry, which didn’t turn out the way he intended.
In replying, he stated “I have worked with him closely so of course, what I know is that he had plans to do good things for the movie and music industry, as well as entertainment in general. Regarding what has happened, we’re just waiting; but from what I know, Nana Appiah-Mensah (NAM 1) had good intentions for the movie and music industry.”
The actor works for Zylofon, also founded and formerly headed by NAM 1 who’s also the founder of Menzgold Dealership. NAM 1, who is alleged to have been captured by authorities in Dubai, has been rumoured to be in their custody after a Gold deal went wrong.
In addressing whether or not he was given a car, he confirmed that he was given a car. However, he wasn’t given a house like some musicians who were on the Menzgold band wagon, as, he’s not a signed artist. He also stated that he has not heard from NAM 1 and can’t confirm whether any other employee has heard from NAM 1.
