The time-wasting on the part of Maxwell, boyfriend of star actress, Nana Ama McBrown to walk down the aisle with the beautiful actress, is making her hold on to some wild fantasies and old tales from her grandmother.
The actress revealed last weekend that, some years ago when she was growing up, her grandmother wanted her to marry football legend, Abedi Pele.
According to her, at a very young age, anytime the Black Stars were playing a match and Abedi scored, her granny always said she will give him to the player to marry.
In an exclusive interview with razzonline.com , the kumawood first lady said “Those days, anytime the Black Stars play, before GTV plays Tagoe Sisters song, and when Abedi Pele scores, my grandmother goes like – she will give me to Abedi Pele. Because of what my granny always said, anytime I heard the name, Abedi Pele, I remember that statement. Also, anytime I hear the famous Tagoe Sisters song, I recollect my granny’s proposal for me to marry Abedi,”
She also stated that, although her grandmother made the statement frequently, she never took it seriously and did not even envisage she will be this popular.
“I am Abedi Pele’s wife; just waiting for him to come and marry me,” she said it jokingly.
