My Wife Will Not Be Active In Politics If I Win 2020 Elections – John Mahama Explains

The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Mahama has revealed that his wife, Lordina Mahama will not take part in active politics or governance even if he were to win the 2020 elections.

There have been questions raised about the glaring absence of Mrs. Lordina Mahama on the campaign trail of the NDC as they embark on their campaign, especially in the face of the active involvement of Mrs. Samira Bawumia and First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo on the campaign trail of the NPP.

However, former President John Mahama claims that the glaring absence of his wife is as a result of the unfair criticism and lies peddled against her during her time as First Lady of the Republic.

According to the NDC flagbearer, his wife has chosen to remain on the sidelines and cheer on the team to victory, while focusing on her foundation for the time being.

Former President Mahama was emphatic that his wife will take a backseat even if he were to return to power after the 2020 polls.
