Mudd was killed on Sunday evening in a frightening episode on the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge.
According to the Illinois State Police, a white SUV going eastbound on Interstate 70 from Missouri on the Stan Musial Bridge was struck by gunfire. ISP Troop 8 and ISP DCI Zone 6 responded at milepost 2 in St. Clair County around 10:50 p.m. Sunday.
The driver was pronounced dead on scene, and a passenger was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This was not the first time Mudd was a victim of a shooting.
Almost two years ago, Mudd Bughatti was shot multiple times in an incident in which one person died.
