Former Ghana U20 star, Moses Odjer has slammed reports linking him to a return to former club US Salernitana.
Moses Odjer, 23, has carved a niche for himself as a good midfielder in the Italian Serie B and is being coveted by many sides including his former team.
However, the player who starred for the Black Satellites at the World U20 championship claims he is staying put at his current club Trapani.
Speaking to Platinumtv.com.gh, Odjer expressed his happiness at how things are going on am with his current club and hopes to kick on when the Serie B resumes.
“I am happy at Trapani and I am ready to give my all when the game resumes here.I have one paramount aim and it is to help the team fall in a better position at the end of the season”, Odjer said.
“I never called anybody at my former club and even with the agent issue, I changed the agent before moving to this club so there is no truth in it,” he added.
“I am enjoying every bit of my time here, my coach is playing me at my prefered position and i really loving it.I play in my preferred position at central midfield,” he continued.
On his relationship with his past agent and their eventual break up, Moses Odjer said;
“I never had issues with my former agent, we just had to end things on mutual grounds.It is as simple as that,I would also want to put on record that I did not end with my former agent because he had problems with my former club,Our contract expired in March.”
