Fort Worth, TX – A woman identified as Monique Mardello was killed in a Sunday morning shooting on the 1700 block of E. Robert Street, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.

Officers were called to the area for a shooting report. When they arrived, they found Monique inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene.

A short time later, police learned that a second woman, who was driving the vehicle, had arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds.
