Moment suspected thief got saved from being burnt alive [Video]

A suspected thief was alleged nabbed in the act and was nearly subjected to jungle justice but for some civil residents.

In a video circulating online, the suspect was seen sitting on the floor with his legs tied and the items he was said to have stolen laid just beside him while a crowd forming a circle around him.

He seemed to be pleading for leniency when someone came with a tyre and keg of kerosene to set him ablaze.

But luckily for him, some other bystanders prevented the man from putting the tyre on the suspected thief.
