Michael Huntley has been crowned the winner of season 24 of The Voice.
The Fredericksburg – Virginia resident wowed judges John Legend, Niall, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani.
In the end, his performance last night did more than just impress – it won him the whole competition.
The result was announced at the end of the show, with Huntley beating out Lila Forde, Ruby Leigh, Mara Justine, and Jacquie Roar.
Immediately after the result was announced, The Voice viewers took to X – formerly Twitter – to share their reactions.
Who is Michael Huntley?
Michael Huntley is a 33 year old American singer and songwriter.
Huntley has worked as a booking age for musicians since 2022.
However, he’s since transitioned into a full-time musician performing 5 times a week.
Huntley has been singing since he was a kid, impersonating Elvis Presley for his friends and family.
It wasn’t until he was much older that he decided to take music seriously, and at one point, he moved to Nashville to try and make it big.
Before joining The Voice, he tried his luck in various singing competitions, including American Idol, in which he earned a golden ticket.
Huntley was also a part of a band named Lucys Letdown, but he has since launched a solo music career.
He released his debut single, Holdin’ On, in April 2022.
Huntley’s hometown is Spring Hill, Florida, but he currently lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
He moved to Nashville briefly after two years of college, but he ultimately returned to Virginia, according to his NBC bio. Before The Voice, Huntley was performing all throughout Virginia.
