Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, an educator at Bancroft School, where she serves as Associate Director of Lower School and the Hope Graham Program Admissions.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Byron has served as CEO of Astronomer for over two years. Prior to that, he worked at Lacework, a cloud security company in Mountain View, California.
His career history also includes high-profile roles such as Chief Revenue Officer at Cybereason in Boston, CEO of Fuze, Vice President of Sales at BMC Software, and earlier stints at BladeLogic and VeriCenter.
